At Maroua, in North Cameroon, the bites of the Culex Quinquefasciatus mosquito have harmful effects on the inhabitants. Elsewhere in the world, Culex transmits a deadly disease to millions of people. This film features a mosquito control performed with a biological insecticide. Such a large scale treatment is applied for the first time in the world using this type of compound which does not pollute the environment, improving the prospects of combatting the carriers of tropical diseases.
